Welcome to Canon Burrows Church of England Primary School! We are an inclusive school that aspires for each person to reach their full potential morally, spiritually, academically and physically. Everyone that enters Canon Burrows CE Primary School is immersed by our warm family atmosphere, enhanced by our Christian vision, values and ethos. Canon Burrows CE Primary School is a really special place; a place for children to recognise that they are special, precious and unique, and celebrate and develop their individual talents.

We are a 2-form entry primary school and we have very close links with Christ Church Ashton, providing excellent education for the children of our community.

Our committed staff ensure that every child’s journey from Nursery through to Year 6 provides awe and wonder, high standards of academic achievement, and a genuine thirst for knowledge.

Our school motto is ‘Unique: Made in the image of God’. We will nurture your child to become whomever they aspire to be, by challenging them morally, spiritually, academically and physically. As a result, academic standards are consistently above national results, and our children flourish as individuals.
