Autumn 2 Week 5

What an exciting start to the week! Christmas has arrived in Nursery! The children had lots of fun on Monday working together to help put the Christmas decorations up around the classroom.

On the 1st December Nursery had a very exciting surprise message off Santa thanks to Tameside's cultural services.

His little elves are going to give us a different challenge to do everyday to become one of Santa's little helpers. We have had lots of fun doing this week's challenges.
 

Challenge 1 To make an elf’s hat.

Challenge 2- To make a gift tag

Challenge 3- To make a Christmas decoration

Challenge 4- Class paper chain championships

We also had lots of fun enjoying your advent door wishes that you created for homework this week for doors 1-4. We enjoyed reading stories together, sharing our toys, singing 5 Little Reindeers and .

This week in Nursery for Phonics we have been learning the sound 'i' by looking at the story 'Incy Wincy Spider' by Kate Toms.
