Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

Date: 15th Feb 2018 @ 1:15pm

Today we began our new science-driven theme: 'What if we didn't look after animals?'

We started by listening to the story 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?' In the story, Brown Bear sees lots of different types of animals. We went for a (rather wet) walk in the valley to see which animals we could see in our local habitat. We saw a worm, a frog, a fly, a fish, a cat and a crow. We think that the rest of the birds must have been sheltering from the rain because we usually see lots on our playground.

We're really excited about beginning our new science unit and learning all about different types of animals and their characteristics.
