Busy with numbers

This week in maths we have been doing lots of learning about numbers. We have been learning that numbers can be represented by pictures and objects, for example the number seven can be represented by seven pictures of pineapples or seven multilink cubes. We reminded ourselves that when we count objects, we set them out in a line to make sure we count them accurately. We also reminded ourselves that the last number we count is the total amount.
