HANDWRITING POLICY

Thank you to those parents who were able to attend the handwriting workshop led by handwriting expert Mr Martin Harvey last week.

Over the last year, we have worked extremely hard to improve our handwriting, with Mr Harvey's help and guidance and the use of special exercise books with handwriting guides. Together with handwriting lessons and the specially designed exercise books we have seen an improvement in our handwriting but we still have room to improve and hope we can continue to develop a fluent and legible handwriting style in Year 2.

Attached below is our whole school approach to teaching and developing handwriting; the Year 2 section highlights our next steps as we move through the year.
