RE Week
Date: 24th Mar 2019 @ 8:41am
This week has been RE week, and we have thoroughly enjoyed it! We were lucky to have a visitor from Christian Aid in to talk to us about climate change and how it is affecting many countries, people and animals on our planet.
In our classes we looked at this in more detail, and focused on the real causes of climate change, and how we can work together to try and prevent it. We wrote pledges, about how we are going to try and reduce our carbon footprint.
Also this week, some of our Eco council have been to the Intergenerational Climate Change Conference hosted by Manchester Environmental Education Network. Have a look at Mr Clark's and the Eco council's blog all about their day.

We have been very lucky to have an exceptional artist come into school too, and she has ben painting a beautiful piece of artwork which represents all of our Christian values. Some of the children were able to have a go at painting part of the mural, which can be seen as you enter the school. Well done to the children in year six, whose artwork was chosen to portray our values- Sam McCormick, Ray Head and Lenny Gordon.
Thank you Mrs Foulds for providing a very interesting RE week for us!
