Summer 1 Weeks 1 and 2

The Nursery children have had a very exciting 2 weeks watching our little eggs hatch into baby chicks. We have been observing them and talking about the life cycle of a hen. The children have been fantastic at helping to feed them, give them water and lots of love. We have been learning about how to take care of animals and how to hold them and look after them carefully. Today we said goodbye to the little chicks and we talked about where hens live and what other animals they might see at the farm.
