Year six Eco team plant flowers

Various children in school had noted that some of the planting boxes at the front of school were looking a little tired after the long summer holidays. The children  know well how a bright and sunny entrance to any building cheers everyone up and puts a spring in the step, so this week new winter pansies were planted and existing plants were tidyied. 

When this was finished we put some new plants in the tubs in the back playground and continued with weeding the beds in the school gardens. We also maganed to collect a lot of fallen apples from the infant garden. The tree has produced a good harvest this year.
