Update on Learning
It was lovely to welcome the children back on Tuesday morning. They have thrown themselves whole heartedly into our new theme of ‘Fairy Tales’ and have been enjoying practising the songs for the trip out to The Lighthouse Church in Salford on Thursday 5th March as part of Tameside’s ‘Princess and the Pea Project’. We will be leaving school around 11.45am and will be back before the end of the day. Please remember that the children should come dressed as a Princess, Prince, Knight or anything else linked to the story on this day.
Thank you to all parents and carers who have made the £5 contribution towards the cost of this memorable experience. Please visit the School Gateway to make your payment if you have not done so already.
As well as this, we were lucky enough to have pancakes on Tuesday and a visit from Reverend David on Ash Wednesday.
In Maths we have been practising sharing and halving as well as learning about different materials with Miss Jamieson and Miss Sutton through the story of the 3 Little Pigs.
